CUZY Hosting is open
On 23 October 2026 the new www.cuzy.app replaced the site that sold CUZY modules since 2017. It carries the module shop, and something new: managed HumHub hosting for organizations, in the region they choose, at a flat price with unlimited members.
What is new
CUZY has hosted HumHub for a handful of organizations since 2017, by hand, one server at a time. The new site opens that service to anyone: a community of your own is created in about two minutes from the trial page, without a card, with every CUZY module installed, and runs for 14 days before you decide.
- Where. Germany (EU), the USA or Singapore (APAC), chosen when the community is created; the data and its backups stay in that region.
- What is done for you. HumHub and module updates after a canary phase, security fixes within 48 hours, encrypted backups (daily on Team, hourly on Business), monitoring, email delivery, an isolated stack per community with its database encrypted at rest. What is included.
- What it costs. Team €90/month or €900/year and Business €450/month or €4,500/year, flat, with unlimited members. Plans and prices.
- The modules. All 34 CUZY modules are installed; Team includes the free ones and sells the paid ones at 50% off, Business includes them all. On Business, modules and themes written for your community, by your developers or by CUZY, are deployed after review.
- Leaving is built in. All the code a community runs is open source and downloadable through read-only SFTP, a complete export is available from the dashboard once a day, and a subscription stopped early is refunded pro rata. Data privacy and GDPR.
What stays
The module shop: the same 34 modules for self-hosted HumHub, bought on the HumHub marketplace or on this site, with their licenses, renewals and documentation now in a customer area. Every link that was emailed over the years still works. Support in English and French, by ticket, by the people who write the modules.
