User Cleanup module for HumHub: documentation
User Cleanup warns, deactivates and deletes the accounts of HumHub members who no longer log in. These pages show, with screenshots, how to set up each step.
Pages
Settings overview
User Cleanup chains up to six actions on the accounts of members who have not logged in for a chosen number of days: three emails, deactivation, two more emails, deletion. This page shows where everything is before you switch anything on.
Deactivate inactive accounts
The first step of a cleanup is to deactivate the accounts of members who no longer log in, after warning them by email. A deactivated member can come back: logging in again reactivates the account.
Delete inactive accounts
The second step removes the accounts that stayed deactivated. Deletion can run automatically at the daily job or wait for an administrator to click the button, and it handles the spaces the deleted member owned.
Email templates
Each of the six actions has its own email, with a default text in every language of HumHub. You can rewrite the subject, the body and the button, and insert the member's name and the dates with tags.
Queued actions
The Cleanup tab of the user administration lists, for each action, the members it concerns at the next run and those it was carried out for. It is where you check a configuration before trusting it, and where you run the actions by hand.
